Rosie is an Australian artist and designer living
in the historic and pretty town of Forbes.
The town nestles along the Lachlan River
in the central west of New South Wales.

At present, in between a fair bit of travel around NSW following the polo circuit and visiting friends, she squeezes in the odd commission. "Occasionally I have a burst of artistic flair and produce some paintings!".
These usually sell quickly through her instagram account, @rosiewjohnston. Her art reflects an impressionist style and includes some of her favourite subjects: horses, polo & country scenes, more recently throwing abstract into the mix.

Sculpture by the Lachlan formerly 'Somewhere down the Lachlan' was the brainchild of Rosie back in 2012 and is now run by The Forbes Arts Society after receiving a massive grant of over $7 million by the NSW Government.
