“To bring anything into your life, imagine that it’s already there”
Richard Bach (American Writer, author of ‘Jonathan Livingston Seagull’)
The objectives of Sculpture down the Lachlan project
may be summarised as follows:
To play a significant role in a tourism strategy for our region.
To ensure that all sculptures are significant in nature
and diverse in style.
To seek strong, practical support from the Forbes
and Lachlan Shire Councils in the development, fundraising,
promotion and maintenance of the trail.
To involve the community in the development of the project.
To have a staged development, with the ultimate objective of having
a number of significant sculptures in town, around the lake and ultimately a variety of monumental pieces, spaced appropriately
along the Lachlan River between Forbes and Condobolin.
